The Opportunity
Our newly established Customer Area Near Patient Care within our Business Area Roche Diagnostics Solutions combines our expertise around the Point of Care and Diabetes Care portfolio. Our goal in Near Patient Care is to enable accurate diagnoses in all areas of the healthcare system from home, in the pharmacy, at the doctor's office, to the emergency room and in the hospital to support a sustainable healthcare system.
In Near Patient Care we are responsible for the manufacturing of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), blood glucose monitoring (BGM), insulin delivery systems (IDS), and Point of Care (POC) products. The solutions from our unique device portfolio create more independence, confidence, and safety for our patients in their daily lives through advanced technology. The Head of Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) (d / f / m) is end-to-end accountable for on-time, in-full, and cost-effective implementation of all projects with respect to products, manufacturing processes, and assets in NPC Operations Mannheim & Indianapolis. Furthermore, the role is also accountable to develop and implement a long-term manufacturing technology strategy.
