The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The Purchasing unit is the interface to the supplier market and is thus responsible for a large part of the value creation. The responsibilities range from raw material purchasing to supplier management and plant purchasing to value engineering.

Your role and key responsibilities

• Setting up and industrializing partnerships and joint ventures
• Deciding and implementing strategies for battery raw materials
• Developing and implementing strategies for key partners, aligning these activities with the overarching PowerCO strategy
• Representing PowerCo in high-level functions with government representatives worldwide

What you bring to the team

• Successfully completed a graduate degree in engineering or a related field
• Over 25 years of professional experience
• Expert knowledge in the field of industrialization
• In-depth understanding of vertical integration
• Proven experience in setting up new manufacturing facilities and launching new products

• Willingness to perform the majority of work on-site
