Head of Engineering Fluid Systems (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:

Technical and disciplinary management of the Fluid Systems engineering team (10 - 15 FTE)
Management of order-related engineering requirements in accordance with agreed customer specifications and international standards using SAP
Focusing on supply systems according to API 682 (e.g. Plan53B)
Project management to ensure on-time delivery
Co-operation with all order-relevant departments (sales, production, purchasing, project management)
Support and release of basic/detail engineering (e.g. P&ID, GA-Drawing, etc.) using Solid Edge/Teamcenter
Complaint management with the customer
Implementation and support of customer acceptance tests
Participation in product development
Budget monitoring within the framework of project budgets
Management of order change requests
Global support of the engineering departments for fluid systems

Qualifications:

Completed technical studies or comparable training, e.g. mechanical engineering/industrial foreman
Expertise in supply systems in general, as well as the basics of pump and sealing technology desirable
Expertise in pressure vessel regulations, electrical engineering, measurement and control technology, fluid mechanics and hydraulics, thermodynamics and product calculation
Detailed knowledge of quality-relevant standards and regulations desirable
Methodical knowledge of staff management, project management, key figure systems and application, quality management
SAP, calculation programmes such as Lauterbach, CAD database (Teamcenter) and basic 3D CAD systems (Solid Edge)
Basic knowledge of Mindmap or MS Projects, database systems
Very good written and spoken English, other foreign language skills an advantage
Independent, structured way of working and confident demeanour
Willingness to travel on business
Experience in presentations and training is an advantage
Strong communication skills
High degree of customer orientation and entrepreneurial thinking
Ability to work in a team, reliability and flexibility
