About the Role:

As our new Head of Digital Marketing, you will report directly to the CMO of Kleinanzeigen.de. and shape and accomplish our digital marketing efforts across diverse customer segments—consumers, business clients, and real estate professionals—across multiple channels and all digital platforms.
This is a hybrid role, and our office is based in Berlin Charlottenburg.
As the Head of Digital Marketing, you will
Drive digital strategy: Take full ownership of our digital marketing strategy, ensuring a seamless journey for new and existing users.
Lead with a Growth Mindset: Apply ROI-based methods to unlock the full potential of Kleinanzeigen, driving value and growth.
Data-Driven Marketing: Utilize data to generate insights and craft personalized, user-centric marketing activity in collaboration with our teams and external partners.
Optimize for Efficiency: optimize investment and refine processes to maximize our impact.
Inspire and Lead a High-Performing Team of expert digital marketers, CRM professionals, and onsite marketers.
Champion Marketing Technology: Collaborate with MarTech and Marketing Analytics to optimise our data and technology foundations for maximum output.
Build and Foster Strong Partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to drive forward our strategic projects and ensure excellence in execution.
Manage a Double-Digit (m EUR) Budget: Manage and operationalise the digital marketing budget, optimising for efficiency and improvement.
Who you are:
10+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of success in strategy development and strategy execution.
5+ years of experience in leadership roles, with experience with coaching, mentoring, and growing high-performing teams.
Advanced knowledge of digital marketing techniques, including SEM, SEO, programmatic advertising, social media marketing, and marketing technology (MarTech) - and connecting media strategies through the funnel
Project management skills, with experience in agile working environments that drive efficiency and innovation.
Professional experience in e-commerce or online marketplaces, with an understanding of customer ecosystems and key value drivers.
Expertise in managing multiple stakeholders and making fast, data-driven decisions with excellent communication skills.
You are a quick learner with excellent logical, analytical, and strategic skills.
You lead by example, inspiring your team with your expertise and passion for digital marketing. You're always curious, seeking opportunities to learn and grow.
Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
A Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Science degree is required (postgraduate or professional degrees are a plus).
