Your Mission

As "Head of Commercial Development - Marketplace" you will be primarily responsible for maximizing the commercial contribution of Eurowings' Marketplace by leading and empowering the Commercial Development - Marketplace team. Your goal is to to maximize flight and ancillary performance and motivating all contributors within the organization to support the Marketplace mission. You will also be responsible for defining the Marketplace portfolio strategy, creating the path for execution of strategic and tactical actions, and diligently monitoring commercial performance of all revenue products.

Your Tasks

  • Build and develop the overall ancillary/upsell/partner services/marketplace enabler strategy for the company and understand its impact and influence on the overall business strategy of EW Digital and Eurowings
  • Ensure the best possible commercial performance of each revenue product by evaluating relevant KPIs and data insights and deriving actions for further improvement
  • Develop and maintain a holistic marketplace experience across all channels, working closely with product and software development teams
  • Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication and feedback culture
  • Foster cross-organizational collaboration with other teams (Marketing, Product Management, Sales, and others) to strategically and continuously expand the capabilities of our marketplace.

Your Profile

  • Experience managing people in a fast-paced product development environment
  • Ability to work tactically and strategically to drive and respond to business performance
  • Proven experience in e-commerce, business and commercialdevelopment and/or commercial airline management
  • You are a trusted and recognized leader who consistently demonstrates credibility in cross-functional interactions
  • Commercial acumen coupled with effective communication and proven leadership skills to deliver structured continuous improvement initiatives and results
  • Previous experience of using agile methodology as a way of working.
