The Nexperia Head of Board Governance is a member of the Strategy & Governance Organization reporting into the Chief Strategy Officer. The Head of Board Governance works across Nexperia to help implement consistent processes, models, and methodologies for Nexperia's main core processes such as the Strategic Deep Dive, NPI Strategy Execution, and MVA Strategy Execution. This role works with the FMC (Financial Management Committee) to ensure proper KPIs are set in accordance to Nexperia's short-, mid- and long targets, monitored, and appropriate actions are taken to mitigate issues, along with facilitating the report out process for Activities and KPIs. The Head of Board Governance will work closely with the management board members and functions to facilitate good communication and dissemination of processes and methodologies. This position is responsible for ensuring that groups work consistently according to the Nexperia Management Models and defined processes, as well as ensuring that these processes are documented and detailed by the supporting groups.
What you will do
Oversee and manage the Nexperia Deep Dive Strategy Process including the assessment of achievement towards Deep Dive strategic plans for all organizational units.
Shape the Nexperia Deep Dive Strategy process and all subprocess interactions tied to the Nexperia Deep Dive.
Shape the Nexperia Management Models, including communication, training, and deployment objectives in support of the Nexperia Management Models.
Track, monitor and report key Deep Dive KPIs and performance metrics.
Oversee and manage key Nexperia Management Model Processes.
Communicate, train, and document core Nexperia Strategic Processes & Management Model Processes.
Strategic KPI report out to Financial Management Committee and the management board.
Oversee and manage core Project Management projects within the Strategy & Governance Department.
What you will need
University degree in Engineering, especially Electrical Engineering and/or Semiconductor background or business and management studies with strong technical aptitude.
Minimum of 10 years professional experience in a related role.
Experience and ability to interact well with all levels and functions within a global organization.
Technical aptitude with experience in semiconductor market, products, and process areas to enable working across large teams of multidisciplinary functions including Engineers, Product Managers, Marketing and Sales, Financial Controllers, General Managers, etc.
Knowledge and experience dealing with the full spectrum of product strategy, new product introduction, and product cost reduction initiatives.
Strong financial mindset and comprehension of financial P&L principles.
Strong leadership skills, interpersonal skills, and experience managing individuals and teams.
Motivational leader able to help teams overcome significant challenges and barriers towards success, with or without direct line responsibility.
Good project management background and experience.
Ability to review performance, challenge individuals and teams, and hold them accountable from a governance and oversight perspective.
Ability to manage complex processes with multiple interactions with other complex systems/processes.
Strong presentation skills also with respect to template setting for strategic processes.
Strong aptitude for learning customized computer software packages as part of the day-to-day operations, reporting, and data analysis.
