As an individual contributor and a member of the global Infrastructure team, the Hardware Portfolio Manager is accountable for IT Hardware Portfolio and Provider Management Corporate wide. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the strategic planning, development and lifecycle management of hardware products, ensuring they meet market demands and business objectives. The position can be staffed either in Hannover or in Timisoara.

Your Tasks

1. Global standardization of Client, Server, Printing solutions as well as for Hybrid Work and Teams Rooms HW.
2. Leading the technical hardware coordination to define client and server strategy according to customer needs, business goals and market trends.
3. SPOC for the defined vendors, customer representatives, purchasing organization and possible escalations.
4. Market research and technical evaluation of HW technologies and solutions.
5. Global HW basket release and catalogue management for standard HW devices.
6. Responsible for hardware life cycle, transition and communication management.
7. Conduct regular Business Review Meetings and assisting in contract negotiations.
8. Specialist in Client / Server architecture, HW standardization and provider management.
9. Stay updated with the latest hardware technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

1. Academic degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field.
2. Strong understanding of hardware product development processes and lifecycle management.
3. Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and strategic planning.
4. Wide knowledge in IT infrastructure HW, Processes, Service Management, Agile and Scrum.
5. Project Management experience in several significant IT infrastructure projects.
6. Intercultural sensitivity, customer, quality and strategic centric skillsets.
7. Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills required.
8. Knowledge of purchasing reporting and processes is a plus.
