Hardware Engineer (m/f/d) Safety I&C

For a dynamic, future-oriented company in the ? of Erlangen, we are currently looking for a Hardware Engineer (m/f/d) Safety I&C.

The Erlangen-based company is a leader in the innovative field of nuclear technology and, as a global energy group with a focus on renewable energies and sustainable development, currently employs 14,000 people worldwide. The position is permanent and full-time (35 h / week).

The Tasks

1. Creation and maintenance of functional and requirement specifications
2. Documentation for users and developers
3. Continuous improvement of the tools in coordination with users
4. Project support for the tool application
5. User training for the tools

What You Bring With You

1. Degree in computer science, electrical engineering or similar
2. Initial experience with functional and requirement specifications and their implementation
3. Sound programming knowledge (e.g. VBA, C, Perl, Python, Java)
4. Confident handling of databases, ideally knowledge of SQL
5. Experience in software documentation and code commenting
6. Basic understanding of hardware design (ideally TXS platform)
7. English language skills at B1 level
