Tasks

• Your main task is the development of high-performance digital and analog hardware using Altium Designer (circuit design and layout) under consideration of existing development standards and guidelines.
• Typical projects are boards with digital electronics and power supply for automotive radar sensors, usually with the latest multicore processors. Boards for radar RF electronics are also part of the job, developed in cooperation with the RF/antenna team.
• You are responsible for the hardware specification, schematic design, layout, test documentation, coordination interface to CAD design team, and implementation of hardware reviews.
• You will support external and internal production.
• This includes the ramp-up and testing of prototypes for series production.

Requirements

• Completed studies in electrical engineering/mechatronics or a comparable field.
• You are enthusiastic about hardware development for radar sensor technology.
• You have several years of experience in the EMC-compliant hardware development of fast digital circuits and high-frequency circuits, also with design tools for electronic circuits (e.g., Altium Designer).
• Next to knowledge of test engineering, validation, and simulation, you are familiar with PCB technologies and high-speed designs.
• Knowledge of signal processing and transmission, as well as high-speed communication, round off your profile.
• You impress with your analytical and logical thinking skills, as well as your independent way of working and good command of English.
