The role

As SoftwareOne's Global Microsoft Center of Excellence, we identify new business opportunities and work closely with our strategic partner, Microsoft, to design innovative, efficient technology solutions. We stay ahead of technology trends, define best practices, and create architectures to accelerate solution delivery and provide faster time-to-value for our customers. Responsible for global delivery and (Pre-) sales, we define training and enablement requirements across 19 locations, impacting over a thousand employees. As a credible voice in the Microsoft space, we share our expertise at industry events and webinars.

As Global Product Architect for Microsoft 365 and Security, you will be at the forefront of defining, designing, and leading innovative products and services. Reporting to the Microsoft CoE Lead, you will create best practices, delivery blueprints, and ground breaking approaches for the Microsoft CoE.

In this role, you have the opportunity to leverage your deep expertise in Microsoft 365 and Security, combined with a keen understanding of market trends, to anticipate demand and drive innovation. You will champion a clear and differentiated value proposition for SoftwareOne, working collaboratively with all of SoftwareOne’s capabilities and services.

You will collaborate closely with the Global Product Manager for Microsoft Security, who is responsible for the product roadmap, go-to-market strategies, and sales enablement. Additionally, you will partner with the Demand & Capture organization to define business cases, assemble market signals, and accelerate investment and partnership decisions.

1. Product Design & Innovation: Drive the creation of repeatable Secure Microsoft 365 solutions and accelerators, capitalizing on ongoing projects and partnership with Microsoft to package powerful offerings accelerating time-to-value for SoftwareOne customers.
2. Strategic Partnership Management: Lead the technology collaboration with Microsoft, including the realization of joint Security offerings, ensure our offerings are at the cutting edge of technology and market needs.
3. Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with internal Centres of Excellence and service units to promote integration and synergy across our joined initiatives, ensuring a cohesive approach to solution development, architecture and delivery.
4. Product & Delivery Strategy: Define and implement delivery and product strategies that align with our corporate goals, driving growth and thought leadership in the M365 and Security space.
5. Delivery Excellence: Elevate our delivery efforts by being a trusted advisor in the development of proposals, solution designs, and architectures, particularly for strategic customers and significant deals. Be innovative in creating demos, POCs, and presales artifacts that underscore our value proposition.
6. Advanced Advisories: Contribute to our Microsoft Advisory services, employing our established methodology and delivery toolkit, while continuously refining our practices based on market trends and feedback.
7. SoftwareOne Microsoft Portfolio Development: Nurture the development of our Swo Microsoft 365 and Security Portfolio, setting global delivery standards and integrating repeatable components to stay ahead of technological advancements.
8. Delivery Enablement & Thought Leadership: Design delivery and pre-sales enablement initiatives, map providing expertise and knowledge transfer to enhance delivery effectiveness. Establish yourself as a thought leader through contributions to industry consortia and presence at local and international industry events.

What we need to see from you

You have long-standing experience in Microsoft Security as a Solution Architect or Professional Services leader.

With a history in the field of Security and Microsoft technologies, your proven track record of education, experimentation, and staying up-to-date stands out.

1. Strong understanding and hands-on experience with cutting-edge and legacy Security technologies and methodologies such as Entra (and AAD), Defender, Sentinel, Intune, Purview, Copilot for Security, to name a few.
2. Knowledge of Security concepts like Zero Trust, Threat Protection, Data Protection, SecOps and regulation like NIS2, DORA, CISA.
3. Knowledge of architectural best practices such as WAF, CAF and TOGAF.
4. Experience in service delivery model design and execution.
