YOUR ROLE
- Lead the development and execution of the global market intelligence strategy for the Henkel packaging adhesives, coatings & sealants business.
- Conduct primary and secondary research to gather market data, including vendor handling within the global marketing budget.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive market intelligence database, including customer, competitor and market studies, as well as a range of other data sources.
- Analyze packaging market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry developments to provide actionable insights to senior leadership driving strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate market intelligence into business planning, driving fact-based decision making based on external insights.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators and market metrics, including market sizing methodology, market growth and performance comparison.
- Present findings and recommendations on emerging risks and opportunities to stakeholders through reports, presentations and internal webinars.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in market intelligence.
YOUR SKILLS
- Advanced business or technical degree.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in Marketing, Strategy or Market Research / Intelligence in a B2B environment.
- In-depth knowledge or experience in analyzing packaging market trends and competitive/customer analysis.
- Solid understanding of market research tools and methodologies, and experienced in vendor handling.
- Proficiency in managing databases, running data queries to extract and transform data; Power BI experience strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking abilities to extract meaningful insights, with excellent communication and presentation skills to present insights to a wide range of different stakeholders.
- Excellent project management and collaboration skills.
- Fluent English language skills.
