Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Plant HR Business Partner fosters partnership across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives, strategies and policies of the organization. He/She works closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resources, organizational and employee development (i.e. talent management, succession and change management) and has responsibility for their roll-out / execution in collaboration with the Regional HR team. In addition, the Plant HR Business Partner participates in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., salary review, workforce planning, TEs culture, organizational change and stock renewal etc.).
The Plant HRBP - Adelberg serves as a strategic business partner and trusted thought partner to Plant Leader and In-Country Senior Management. Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as part of the Industrial HR team to lead the delivery of strategic talent, organization design, and organizational effectiveness support across respective client groups.
- Being the HR reference point for the In-Country Management team, providing leadership, counsel, and support for key business initiatives and business-related matters.
- Coordinating and collaborating effectively with the HR organization for data driven best practice solutions and their execution.
- Defining and analyzing Plant HR KPIs, driving actions for cost efficiency.
- Facilitating and driving key talent development plans to strengthen the talent pipeline for all critical positions including stretched assignments, coaching or mentoring programs, professional & leadership training.
- Taking informed risks where needed, measuring cost/benefit trade-offs, and working toward enterprise goals.
- Serving as the voice of the business within the BU/Function HR Leadership team.
- Enterprise advocacy for Diversity, Engagement, and Inclusion.
- Coaching and developing managers, driving development initiatives, and succession planning to ensure longer-term success.
- Leading change management programs and facilitating organizational change.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Law, Psychology, or any related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
- Significant HR related experience; breadth of HR knowledge and skills in a variety of fields, preferred also in international context and Business Partner role; experience in a manufacturing and/or operations environment is strongly preferred.
- Must be fluent in German and English - written and spoken.
- Executive level experience; experience influencing without authority.
- Ability to influence, lead and drive execution into the functions/region through close partnership and collaboration with the broader HR function.
- Proven track record in Talent Management, Change Leadership and Organizational Development.
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced, international matrix organization.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Advanced knowledge of German labor laws and obligations.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
