As a Global Head of Internal Communications, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing communication strategies that engage and inform employees at all levels of the organization. This role focuses on fostering a positive, informed, and unified corporate culture through strategic messaging and clear communication channels.
Reporting to the CPO and working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, you will ensure alignment on key initiatives, values, and goals across departments.
This role is based in Munich (hybrid 50% office/home-office)
Key Responsibilities
Internal Communications

Communication Strategy Development:
- Design and implement an internal communication strategy that supports the company’s vision, culture, and business objectives.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify communication needs and tailor messaging to align with company priorities.
Employee Engagement:
- Lead initiatives that enhance employee engagement and promote a strong corporate culture, such as newsletters, town halls, and executive briefings.
- Act as a steward of the company’s values, crafting messages that inspire and motivate employees.
Content Creation and Delivery:
- Develop and oversee content creation across internal channels, including emails, intranet, digital platforms, and internal social media.
- Ensure consistency in messaging tone, voice, and content quality.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program Leadership:
- Develop and implement CSR programs that reflect the company’s mission and commitment to sustainability, community involvement, and social impact.
- Coordinate volunteer events, charitable partnerships, and sustainability initiatives that align with the company's goals and resonate with employees.
Employer Branding

- Partner with HR, marketing, and leadership to align internal communications with the organization’s employer brand strategy.
- Collaborate with recruitment teams to develop communication materials, such as recruitment videos, career newsletters, and candidate-focused messaging, that attract top talent.
- Manage employer review platforms (e.g., Glassdoor, Indeed, Kununu), ensuring the company’s profile reflects a positive and accurate employee experience.
- Monitor trends in employer branding and implement innovative ideas to stay competitive in attracting and retaining talent.
- Develop campaigns that encourage employees to act as brand ambassadors and enhance recruitment and retention efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field
- 8-10 years’ experience in internal / corporate communications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English as well as German (minimum C1)
- Familiarity with digital communications platforms
- Strong understanding of organizational culture and employee engagement best practices
- Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
