The Position:

We are looking for a Global Commercial Controller (m/f/d) to join our global team in Frankfurt. In this role, you will act as a financial business partner for our international operations, providing valuable insights to drive decision-making and ensuring financial excellence across the organization. As a key member of our Business Partnering Team, you will support senior management and various departments by delivering in-depth financial analyses, accurate forecasting, and strategic recommendations. Your main focus will be on maximizing profitability, optimizing processes, and promoting data-driven decision-making.

What you will do:

  • Financial Management: Lead and develop financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic projects.
  • Analysis & Insights: Provide meaningful financial analysis on margins, cost structures, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive informed business decisions.
  • Business Partnering: Work closely with Sales, Procurement, Logistics and Operations to improve business processes, identify efficiency gains, and enhance profitability.
  • Process Optimization & Automation: Improve reporting and controlling processes through automation and digital solutions to enhance transparency and accuracy.
  • Reporting & Presentation: Prepare and effectively communicate financial results to various stakeholders, including the board and senior management.

What you will bring:

  • Level of education & knowledge:
    • Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Controlling or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in finance, particularly in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), controlling or strategic financial management.
  • Technical skills:
    • Strong knowledge of financial KPIs, strategic planning and data analysis. Familiarity with IFRS/GAAP is a plus.
    • Ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.
    • Experience with BI tools and ERP systems (e.g. SAP) is beneficial.
  • Entrepreneurial and highly organized, attention to detail and proven track record of execution and delivery under dynamic and fast-paced environments, both as an individual and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively partner with different departments and international teams.
  • Fluent command of English is mandatory, additional language skills (e.g. German, French, Chinese) are of advantage.
