The Role…

We are keen to recruit a Global Account Manager into our German business. You will need to be results orientated, take a consultative and collaborative approach to business needs and become a trusted adviser/expert on your accounts.

What you will need…

  • Consultative selling approach with emphasis on Account Growth.
  • Cross selling and Upselling experience with collaboration across both client and own organization to drive a Global Technology approach.
  • Vertical customer expertise enabling effective communications at the highest level of the customer’s organization.
  • Customer engagement at senior levels; building long-term strategic and executive relationships.
  • Ability to clearly articulate value and demonstrate how solutions map to a customer’s needs.
  • Build relationship strategies, account and sales plans, and proposal strategies.
  • Proven track record of sustained sales achievement in managing key accounts.
  • Deal & tender management experience.
  • Extensive industry & technical knowledge from working in the Fire and Security Industry.
  • Knowledge of standards relating to the respective systems.

Who you are…

Professional Sales Skills: A proficient and creative, high-level sales negotiator with outstanding ability to achieve and exceed sales targets in a B2B, complex sales environment. Proven ability to target accounts and use techniques such as MEDDIC / Challenger Sales / Solutions Selling to uncover true needs and decision-makers to progress opportunities through our sales funnel.

Communication and Customer Orientation: A strong and assured communicator and presenter, who is able to gain personal credibility. Someone who understands the customer implications of chosen approaches and is able to reflect these in a diplomatic and professional manner in order to achieve client trust and confidence.

Business Acumen: Able to take a commercially aware approach to achieving goals and objectives and balance both technical and commercial considerations in achieving sales success and ongoing customer satisfaction. Financially astute. Familiarity with financial models, ROI, TCO, capital versus operating budget issues, etc. are all areas which will drive success in this role.

Self-Reliance and Flexibility: Possesses a self-assured and outgoing personality with the ability and adaptability to work practically, independently, reliably and flexibly, without the need for ongoing support.

What you will be doing…

You will be responsible for adding and expanding Global Customer accounts within your Region and provide a strategic and specific sales focus on the client portfolio.

Revenue Growth: Improve quantity and quality of revenue from retention and growth for assigned accounts to meet or exceed strategic goals and business plan. Profitable growth in the form of new opportunities within existing accounts with orders and margin above set targets.

Relationship Management: Influence decisions taken by external (account/customer) stakeholders. Create, maintain and enhance relationships with decision makers, key influencers, and day-to-day contacts at existing and target accounts.

Grow Key Global Customers: Influence decisions taken by external (account/customer) stakeholders. Create, maintain and enhance relationships with decision makers, key influencers, and day-to-day contacts at existing and target accounts.

Commercial Acumen: Understand key financial levers (desktop analysis of financial statements) to drive strategies. Ability to understand complex contracts and determine the right direction and strategy. Research, understand, maintain and leverage knowledge of: Strategic Accounts; Industry Verticals; and Competition.

Business Relationships: Build trust and credibility at all levels of the customers' organization, including decision-makers across the customers' business functions and including senior management and/or C-suite; advocate for the customer inside Securitas Technology and be viewed as a full partner by the customer.

Sales Process: Manage the day-to-day and strategic: maintaining a balanced approach to superior customer service and strategic account planning; quarterly results and long-term account goals; proactively lead, manage and execute the disciplined sales process from start to finish; anticipate customer needs and requirements ensure that they are met every step of the way from sale to execution; act as team leader internally and externally during the entire sales process.
