Your responsibilities :

  • Anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the organization for assigned locations, functions or departments in collaboration with HR team members and functional leaders.
  • Serve as the point of contact to respond and resolve HR-related inquiries and issues from Associates and Leaders for assigned locations, functions or departments.
  • Establish strong professional relationships with assigned Leaders to facilitate management-employee coaching and evaluate workplace problems and construct relevant solutions.
  • Manage Associate disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations for assigned locations, functions or departments.
  • Support and manage the employee performance review process for assigned locations, functions or departments.
  • Leverage leadership development resources to manage and ensure the development needs of assigned locations, functions or departments are met.
  • Facilitate training and development sessions as required.
  • Partner with leadership and the Talent Acquisition team to ensure staffing needs for assigned teams are met.
  • Communicate, implement and manage new HR or office policies and processes as required.
  • Organize and conduct new employee orientation as designated.
  • Manage relevant Human Resources paperwork and documentation including, but not limited to, business contracts, employment verification, work hours and benefits for all assigned functions, locations or departments.
  • Maintain Associate information within the HRIS system ensuring updates are entered, maintained and processes are completed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all HR data is secured and fully compliant with data privacy restrictions, maintaining and protecting both client confidentiality and NAMSA business confidentiality at all times.

As a part of an international team, you will be based on our site in Obernburg (Germany) and will be able to work from home a few days a week.

Qualifications & Technical Competencies :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • HR Certification, as applicable locally, preferred.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Must demonstrate basic computer proficiency.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of personal and professional integrity.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
  • Experience in working in and reporting from an HRIS system. Experience with Workday is a plus.
  • Knowledge of local labor law/legislation required.
  • Knowledge of local benefit programs preferred.
  • Experience in:
    • Employee relations
    • Employment Law in Germany
    • Providing HR support to our Laboratory Services and other business lines like Clinical and Consulting.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Part of a global Human Resource Team and will provide support to other countries as well.
  • Excellent communication skills in German (minimum level C2), English is a must, French would be a very nice to have.
  • Reports to the Director, Human Resources in EMEA.
