Job Description:

A Japanese industrial products manufacturer is seeking a German-speaking Sales Representative to expand their business in Germany. The role is based in their office located between Amsterdam and Utrecht with the purpose of expanding their business, mainly in Germany. Although this is in Amsterdam, it will involve business trips across Europe.

TYPE: Full-time role, initially 6 months contract (potential to become permanent)
WORKING HOURS: 8:30 – 17:00, Monday to Friday, 30 minutes lunch break
SALARY: €4,000 – START: ASAP
Benefits: Company-provided cell phone and PC, shared company car, pension, 25 days annual leave

Main Responsibilities:

1. Providing technical solutions to new and existing customers through inbound & outbound acquisitions in a wide range of industries
2. Developing personal sales capabilities, management skills, and being responsible for outbound & inbound revenue growth whilst achieving the company sales targets and objectives, and personal quotas
3. Being responsible for assigned pipeline management, whilst managing clients and the company portfolio
4. Learning about and executing various sales strategy approaches to penetrate the complex international enterprises
5. Supporting Sales, Management, and Business Development
6. Developing a yearly track record of growing performance, and knowledge
7. Researching and developing new distributors
8. Business trips mainly in Germany (20-40% per month)

Ideal Candidate:

1. At least 5 years of sales development experience (preferably in selling industrial products, B to B)
2. Business fluency in German and English is required
3. Strong communication and problem-solving skills
4. Available for 20-40% / month business trips to other countries
5. EU valid driving licence is vital
