We are currently looking for a Software Sales Account Manager to join the Quest Information Systems Management business unit in Germany.

The role is a field Enterprise sales role responsible for selling the breadth of the Information Management software and services portfolio to vertically aligned enterprise accounts.

Responsibilities

  1. Selling Erwin by Quest solutions in the allocated region.
  2. Developing a region quickly using past experience and networks.
  3. Creating and executing a territory plan as well as monitoring progress.
  4. Developing relationships with local partners to define a strategic action plan.
  5. Understanding customers’ business and solutions requirements.
  6. Managing complex sales (large companies, multiple products across BUs).
  7. Territory/regional account management, including account planning and sales forecasting.
  8. Executing a variety of sales and marketing activities.
  9. Finding, developing, and closing sales opportunities through a structured sales process.
  10. Developing and maintaining strong business relationships.
  11. Creating and executing targeted account plans.
  12. Leading the sales process and utilizing all available resources of inside sales, technical pre-sales, and marketing.
  13. Demonstrating effective presentation and negotiation skills.
  14. This position forms part of the EMEA Sales Team, reporting to our EMEA Sales Director.

Qualifications

  1. 10+ years’ experience in Enterprise Software sales.
  2. Familiarity with MEDDPICC and readiness to use it on a daily basis.
  3. Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
  4. Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
  5. Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
  6. Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to audience needs.
  7. Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
  8. Able to provide direction and collaborate with partners.
  9. Ability to develop long-term strategic and executive-level relationships.
