MakesYouLocal helps webshops to expand and succeed abroad. Several of our clients are focusing on the German market, which is why we are looking for new colleagues to join our German team in Berlin! Want to work with leading brands within E-commerce and get a lot of E-commerce knowledge, use your social media skills and make customers happy?

In this position, you will be important to our clients’ success in this market. Together with your friendly and supportive team, you’ll help customers navigate any issues they run into while shopping online. Your goal? To make their experience as smooth and stress-free as possible, ensuring they feel heard, valued, and ready to shop. Your job will primarily be customer service by mail, chat, and phone calls—our German customers love to call and chat.

What do we expect from our next colleague?

We are looking for people with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help customers. Experience in a relevant field such as e-commerce, customer service, retail, hospitality or similar is a plus; however, the most important thing is a willingness to learn.

Must have:

1. First and foremost, a deep understanding of German customers' mindsets
2. Great German language skills
3. Great customer service skills - you love to help customers!
4. Be able to communicate in English, since our company language is English

You should also have:

1. Good computer skills and a willingness to learn new things
2. A team-player attitude

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Are you great at communicating and love social media? We’re looking for someone who can provide top-notch customer service while also managing social media accounts for webshops.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Assisting customers via phone, chat, and email – making their experience smooth and stress-free.
2. Managing social media accounts – engaging with followers & maintaining a great online presence.

No need for years of experience—just bring good communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn!

This is a full-time position, and you will work from our office in Berlin. Benefits will be discussed as part of the salary package.
