About the Role

To guide our clients throughout their journey with us, from start to finish, we are seeking a Customer Service & Operations Specialist. In this role, you will familiarize clients with our product, teach them how to use Kontist by Ageras for their accounting & banking needs and assist them in resolving any issues. You will primarily communicate via chat, phone, and email. We interact with our customers in an informal, clear manner, and we appreciate when our Customer Service & Operations Specialists add a personal touch to their interactions.

As part of our Customer Service & Operations Team for our German market, you will not only be the go-to person for our clients but also play a key role in creating an exceptional customer experience and enhancing our product. You should be proactive in discussing and developing new ideas with the team. We see you, and this role, as an integral part of our entire team.

What You'll Do

As a Customer Service & Operations Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • 1st & 2nd Level Support: Providing quick and high-quality responses to customer inquiries (following our customer service guidelines).
  • Collecting & Forwarding Feedback: Gathering customer feedback and forwarding it to relevant stakeholders to improve the customer experience and provide valuable insights for product development.
  • Bug Reporting: Collecting relevant customer information for bug reproduction and forwarding it to the appropriate teams.
  • CSAT Stakeholder: Ensuring customers have an excellent experience in direct interactions.

Who You Are

To succeed in this role, you should identify with the following profile:

  • You enjoy taking the initiative and can work well independently.
  • You are skilled in both written and spoken German and English (our customer communication is mainly in German).
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role (sales, customer support, hospitality, etc.).
  • You are ready to take a significant new step in your career and are willing to work hard for long-term success.
  • You thrive in the dynamic environment of a start-up and do not have a 9-to-6 mentality.
  • Familiarity with mobile applications, digital solutions, and banking and/or accounting knowledge are all major pluses.
  • You enjoy varied schedules, primarily but not exclusively covering weekends, public holidays, and evening shifts.
