The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Designing, developing, and deploying powered software components based on requirements, architecture, and design specifications.
• Writing automated tests to validate software solutions.
• Working with other software architects, software engineers, quality engineers, and other team members to design and build required systems.
• Interacting with customers to resolve operational problems and determine customer requirements.
• Communicating status with management.
• Actively participating in relevant corporate programs/initiatives, complying with professional and quality standards, complying with corporate policies and procedures, and acting in a manner consistent with Solventum’s values and ethical standards.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university and work experience in software development in lieu of the Bachelor’s degree education requirement.
• Relevant work experience in Software Development.
• Relevant work experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Relevant work experience with Angular and other Web frontend technologies.
• Work experience in continuous integration and delivery (Jenkins, Github actions, etc.).
• Fluent language skills in German and English.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Work experience in Natural Language Processing topics.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with microservices, Web applications and services, AWS cloud services.
• Experience working with multicultural teams.
• Experience working remotely.

Work location: Hybrid within Germany (offices in Berlin and Düsseldorf).

Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
