As a Software Engineer with us, you can expect exciting technologies such as:

• JVM / Java / Spring / Quarkus Tech Stack
• Frontend technologies (Angular, TypeScript)
• Databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Cloud and container architectures (Docker, Kubernetes)

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working on the entire software development process for our joint venture applications
• Implementing backends, optimizing systems, designing software architecture, and designing frontends
• Helping your team with unit & UI tests, bug fixing, and the routine operation of our applications
• Improving code by enjoying refactoring and your enthusiasm for clean code
• Carrying out suitability evaluations of technologies for existing use cases
• Taking responsibility for technical and functional topics
• Continuously developing your technical knowledge

Qualifications:

• Sound experience in backend development, especially Java and Spring
• Initial experience in front-end development with TypeScript and Angular
• A DevOps mentality ('you build it, you run it') with which you create solution-specific and pragmatic code
• Curiosity and a willingness to learn new technologies and technical processes
• An agile mindset and openness to agile software development
• Knowledge of databases, Docker, MS Azure, Kubernetes, software architecture, and tools such as Jenkins and Git is an advantage
