We are looking for you as Car Fleet Manager EMEA in Hildesheim ((m/w/d))
The Car Fleet Manager EMEA (m/w/d) is responsible for managing and optimizing the vehicle fleet for all ResMed / MEDIFOX DAN companies in the EMEA region. In close collaboration with external fleet management providers, he/she ensures the efficient use, maintenance, and compliance of the fleet. The focus is on cost control, sustainable solutions, and the introduction of innovative mobility concepts.
Your Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Organization and procurement of the vehicle fleet, including the integration of new vehicles and the management of vehicle assignments, returns, and replacements.
- External Fleet Management: Main contact for fleet management providers, leasing companies, and insurers. Ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and contractual conditions.
- Cost and Budget Management: Development and implementation of cost control strategies (e.g., fuel, maintenance, leasing), planning and managing the fleet budget.
- Sustainability: Leading the transition to sustainable fleet solutions, particularly through electrification and reduction of environmental impact.
- Compliance and Harmonization: Ensuring compliance with legal regulations and harmonizing vehicle policies in the EMEA region to achieve economies of scale.
- Strategic Development: Collaboration with internal departments to develop and implement long-term fleet strategy and optimize mobility solutions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Completed commercial training or comparable qualification.
- At least 6 years of experience in fleet management or similar areas such as procurement or mobility services.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and experience with fleet management software (e.g., FleetWave) is an advantage.
- Negotiation skills and experience in supplier management.
- Very good English and German language skills; French language skills are an advantage.
- Experience in cost control, the implementation of sustainable solutions, and compliance monitoring.
