We are looking for a seasoned and passionate freight forwarding professional to join us. In this role, you will work closely with our team to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
You will join a small team of 10 colleagues in our office located in the heart of the Hamburg port. We offer a hybrid working structure with the opportunity to work from home a few days a week
Key Responsibilities
Controlling all processes within the import area
Continuous optimization of our logistics operations
Processing customer orders, including planning and timely execution as well as checking all documentation
Advising and supporting customers
Communicate and negotiate with service providers, carriers and partners globally
Process complaints and ensure ideal customer satisfaction
Handle the entire customs process
Creation of ad-hoc quotations
Invoicing including cost recording and invoice control
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Freight forwarding professional with over 2 years of experience in the local market
Expertise in ocean freight
Strong background in customer service
Knowledgeable in customs formalities
Fluent in German, with strong written and spoken English skills
