Freelance Treasury Manager (m/f/d)

As a Freelance Treasury Manager at SCAYLE Payments, you will oversee the treasury function within the regulated environment of a payment service licensed company in Germany. Your responsibilities will include managing and advancing various topics, from cash management and safeguarding in accordance with ZAG regulations to process optimization initiatives and ensuring regulatory compliance in close alignment with the broader finance team and senior management.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for cash and liquidity management, such as cash flow and safeguarding monitoring, liquidity forecasting, and account disposition.
2. Setting up scalable and regulatory compliant bank account structures and treasury processes for SCAYLE Payments that come along with a payment service licensed company.
3. Management of banking processes, such as processing payment transactions and administration of bank accounts, as well as communication with banks in close alignment and collaboration with Group Treasury at ABOUT YOU.
4. Implementation and expansion of FX management control logics.
5. Support in building up the treasury function and participating in cross-functional projects such as pricing of regulated services, financing mechanics etc.
6. Development and optimization of treasury policies, processes, and reporting.
7. Conceptual and technical optimization of the treasury infrastructure, in particular the treasury management system, and bank accounting in close collaboration with Group Treasury.

Requirements

1. Successfully completed a bachelor or master degree in economics or an equivalent field with a focus on finance and/or banking.
2. 5+ years of relevant professional experience in finance, treasury, and/or corporate banking.
3. Knowledge of common treasury management systems such as Coupa as well as Microsoft D365 (ERP) is an advantage.
4. Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as knowledge of a BaFin regulated business environment.
5. Independent, structured, and process-oriented way of working.
