Founders Associate - Corporate Development (m/f/d)

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile individual to support Steffen Pauls, founder of Moonfare and 7 Global Capital (7GC), across a range of high-priority, dynamic initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams across two fast-growing firms at the intersection of fintech and venture capital.

As the Founder's Associate - Corporate Development, you will be entrusted with confidential, strategic projects spanning investment, product, marketing, and growth. You will:

• Support fundraising and investor relations activities, including outreach campaigns, LP communication, and preparation of materials
• Conduct market research and analysis on companies, sectors, and investment opportunities
• Collaborate with the founder and cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives related to business development, market expansion, and organisational growth
• Contribute to competitive and market intelligence, business model analysis, and performance benchmarking
• Assist in evaluating and supporting strategic opportunities such as partnerships or acquisitions, including pipeline oversight and due diligence
• Work with marketing and sales teams to develop messaging strategies and investor outreach tailored to different audiences
• Play a supporting role in strategic deal execution, including internal alignment, negotiation support, and early integration planning

The next Moonfarian:

• Minimum of 4–5 years' experience in a fast-paced, analytical environment (e.g., startup, consulting, or investment banking)
• Fluent (written and verbal) in both German and English, or a native speaker of one and fluent in the other
• Excellent academic background (Bachelor's or Master's) in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field from a top-tier institution
• Solid project management and multitasking skills, with a hands-on, proactive approach
• High level of discretion, self-motivation, and resilience under pressure
• Familiarity with M&A or strategic investment processes, including financial modeling and due diligence
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and presentation tools
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
