Formulation Specialist (m/f/d)

KWS SAAT SE & CO. KGaA is looking for a Formulation Specialist (m/f/d) who will run analyses of new seed tech formulations on compatibility with KWS seed treatment technology to ensure proper application in commercial scale. You focus on the improvement and co-development of KWS-specific seed treatment & pelleting recipes.

Your place of work is at our HQ in Einbeck, Lower Saxony.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analysis of formulations of synthetic and biological seed treatment products
• Development of KWS specific seed treatment and pelleting recipes
• Safeguarding compatibility with KWS seed treatment technologies
• Development of pelleting mass, especially in sugar beet
• Participation in transfer of recipes and formulation into commercial application
• Consideration of algorithms / artificial intelligence application
• Target: seed treatment of all relevant KWS crops

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• University degree, preferably a Master's, in material science, chemistry or comparable
• Experience in formulation and recipe development
• Solid understanding of seed biology
• Profound understanding of the seed applied plant protection/enhancement & coating business area
• Business fluent in English & German, willingness to travel
• Distinct internal and external customer orientation
• Teamworking and communication
• Willingness to travel
