What you will do at Skyside as Flight Operations Assistant...
Flight Scheduling and Coordination:
- Assist in planning and scheduling flight operations, ensuring compliance with crew duty regulations.
- Coordinate with pilots, crew, and ground staff to align schedules and operational needs.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of flight plans, crew schedules, and operational documentation.
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations by updating and archiving necessary documents.
Communication and Liaison:
- Act as a point of contact between operations, crew, clients, and regulatory authorities.
- Act as focal point for the Nominated Persons with regard to documentation (WebManuals).
Flight Support:
- Coordinate ground handling, catering, and other logistical arrangements for flights.
Compliance Monitoring:
- Monitor adherence to safety and operational procedures in accordance with aviation regulations.
- Support the preparation for audits and inspections by aviation authorities.
Data Entry and Reporting:
- Input and update data in flight operations management systems.
- Generate operational reports and analyze flight data for performance tracking.
Emergency Response and Support:
- Assist in coordinating response during irregular operations or emergencies.
- Provide administrative support for contingency planning and recovery efforts.
Continuous Improvement:
- Support initiatives for process optimization and efficiency in flight operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting flight operations.
Your profile may include...
(but does not require)
- Background in aviation or a related field (preferred).
- Prior experience or strong interest in Flight Operations topics (business jet experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in aviation software (e.g., LEON, FOS, Flexx, Arinc or similar).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proactive with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Team-oriented with the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
- Good IT skills.
- German and English skills.
- Unrestricted working permit for Austria or Germany.
