Flex/Civil Supervisor

We are looking to recruit experienced Flex/Civil Supervisor with all aspects of fibre installation and telecom network builds including Fibre To The Property (FTTP) Physical Infrastructure Access (PIA) and traditional underground, and overhead installation techniques.

Responsibilities

1. Visit site every day to liaise with every team and to discuss the day’s work ahead.
2. Walk sites weekly to “measure up”.
3. Conduct weekly pre-site surveys for upcoming work involving walking long distances.
4. Confirmations of blockages and locations.
5. Notify the Safety Manager and back office of accidents, near miss incidents and utility strikes together with investigating and providing subsequent reports in the designated time scale.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Min 2 years' experience in Fibre Network Build
• Experience with Supervising with fibre cabling, splicing and testing.
• Knowledge in the fields of sub-ducting, fibre blowing, splicing, aerial and underground cabling on PIA networks.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations
• Willing to travel with overnight stay
• Written and verbal English skills
• Right to Work in the UK (Settlement Status)

• SA002 - Safety underground
• PIA accreditations
• Confined Spaces Level 2
• EUSR Card (CSCS)
