What the job involves

1. Monitoring and managing all financial processes for their entities (KVG and Fund)
2. Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements in collaboration with an external tax advisor and fund administrator
3. Ensuring compliance with reporting standards (HGB), external audit regulations (including AML requirements), and supporting related audits
4. Co-responsibility for overall contract management, invoicing, and receivables management
5. Supporting payroll and other HR matters
6. Assisting with cash flow planning for the KVG entity
7. Ensuring BaFin-compliant documentation of processes
8. Serving as a point of contact for tax advisors, auditors, and occasionally investors
9. Supporting the project team with acquisitions and sales of shareholdings
10. Documenting investment decisions
11. Assisting with capital calls and distributions to investors in collaboration with the fund administrator
12. Creating analyses and materials for investor reporting in collaboration with the fund administration, including portfolio valuations in line with IPEV valuation guidelines
13. Coordinating and supporting ESG reporting
14. Supporting compliance matters, including KYC and AML policies

Who we are looking for

1. A few years of relevant professional experience in auditing/tax advisory, consulting related to accounting, or with a private equity firm or financial investor
2. University degree in business administration, ideally with a focus on finance and/or accounting
3. Accounting expertise (especially HGB) and a basic understanding of (German) tax regulations
4. Strong affinity for numbers and an analytical approach
5. Willingness for continuous professional development
6. Team spirit, reliability, accuracy, and an independent work style
7. High confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information
8. Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
9. Excellent English and German skills, both written and spoken
