Summary: For the “Ground Based Systems” department, we are looking for a “Finance Business Partner Ground Based Systems (f/m/d)” at the Oberkochen or Aalen location as soon as possible. The “Ground Based Systems” department is responsible for the overall commercial project management and acquisition support for ground-based and vehicle-based intelligent sensor network solutions for surveillance, reconnaissance and target acquisition. This includes proposal support including costing up to order acquisition as well as subsequent commercial order processing up to project completion. The position is limited until 31.12.2025.

Your Tasks:

1. Contact person for project managers in all commercial and contractual matters
2. Participation in commercial project management including monitoring and reporting of contractual effects (contractual penalty, warranty, liability, claims)
3. Preparation of offer calculations and the commercial offer part
4. Ensuring the accounting compliance of the project with regard to HGB, IAS, IFRS15 as well as price verification and auditing issues
5. Participation in project controlling and co-calculation of the supervised projects including cost to cost / estimate at completion analyses, target / actual comparisons as well as early anticipation of deviations / problems and support in the development of proposals for the initiation of corrective measures
6. Participation in the awarding of contracts to internal and external bodies and support in the processing of export licenses
7. Support with periodic planning processes (operational planning, budgeting, statistics for the business area)

Your Profile:

1. Completed studies in business administration or comparable
2. Experience in finance and commercial
3. Experience in project management advantageous
4. Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and good knowledge of SAP (SD / PS module)
5. Knowledge of public price law advantageous
6. Analytical and independent, proactive way of working
7. Very good communication skills, assertiveness and the ability to work in a team
8. Business fluent German and very good English skills
