What the job looks like
Each day you’ll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as:
- Provide proactive financial advice to MSI & S&DO leadership to optimize departmental performance and lead GO-wide financial oversight on Opex and Capex projects.
- Partner with the Head of Global Contract Manufacturing, Head of MSI, and Head of S&DO, ensuring financial adherence and conducting trade-off analyses for value optimization.
- Actively participate in strategic development and decision-making processes, supporting business opportunity evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive operational excellence in controlling processes, collaborating on global projects across Chile, Ecuador, Switzerland, Italy, and Germany.
- Lead project-related Opex & Capex financial processes and orchestrate planning, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
- Perform Actual / Forecast and Budget planning and performance management.
- Serve as the main financial contact for business case validation related to CMB/MSI/S&DO and as a liaison to the finance organization and external auditors.
What you’ll bring to the table
To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a business related field; MBA preferred.
- Ideally first experience in pharma industry and Project Management.
- First insights on complex project management and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Interest and first experience with Operational Excellence - Lean Sigma Methodologies Green to Blackbelt.
- Very good leadership and interpersonal skills with a communicative and result-oriented mindset.
- Ability to think strategically, analyze data, and make informed decisions based on financial insights in a paced, dynamic environment.
- Communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
