Expert in Manufacturing (all genders welcome) in the Field of Mobile Device and System Construction
The "Human Operated Vehicles" team is a young group of developers from various fields including computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, bionics, mechatronics, and manufacturing. Together, we develop top-notch propulsion, control, and software technology for use both underwater and above water, for both the B2C and B2B sectors, from conceptualization to series solutions.
With your structured work, you will support the developers by providing your broad manufacturing expertise early on, working out and assessing manufacturing options in terms of cost, benefits, and time, and actively accompanying the manufacturing process in operational and content-related aspects.
What you can expect
Technical support throughout the development phases with a focus on manufacturing processes and methods
Creation of Make or Buy/Make or Partner analyses, especially in the area of plastics and composite materials
Conception and planning of efficient manufacturing processes as well as management of interfaces
Development of a comprehensive manufacturing strategy and roadmap for pilot and main production runs
Definition, orchestration, and implementation of cutting-edge and streamlined process landscapes
Consultation for the development team as well as management
What you bring

At least 5 years of practical experience in a leadership role

Understanding of manufacturing automation and process design
Experience in batch size optimization and platform strategy
Highly effective communication skills, especially in handling complex interdependent situations
Broad technical understanding
Proficient knowledge of German and English languages in both spoken and written forms
