We also support the work of the group companies with various functional areas, such as Compliance, Controlling, IT, Legal, Tax, Risk Control, HR, and Communications.
For our Group Company, Neumann Gruppe GmbH, we are looking for an

Expert IFRS Accounting Principles (f/m/d)

In this newly created position you will be part of our Group Accounting team and report directly to our Director Financial Services.

Your responsibilities:
  • IFRS: You will be responsible for an IFRS-compliant accounting of the entire Group including consolidated financial statements.
  • Consulting: You are acting as an internal consultant for IFRS-related topics and issues, also in context of business projects (M&A, equity transactions, investments and leasing, etc.).
  • Training: You will design and conduct NKG-wide IFRS accounting trainings.
  • Policies: You will improve our inhouse IFRS accounting guidelines and implement new and adapted IFRS standards.
  • Quality standards: You will also develop and implement quality checks for financial reporting packages.
  • Internal Control System: Designing and implement NKG-wide internal control system for the financial reporting in coordination with other departments will also be your responsibility.

Your profile:
  • Background: You can show a university degree in business administration or a comparable course of study, ideally with a focus on finance & accounting.
  • Experience: You have several years of professional experience in a (group) accounting department, preferably of a mid-size or family-owned company or in an auditing firm and you can show a sound knowledge of IFRS regulations and standards.
  • Skills: You are able to grasp complex issues quickly and present them in an understandable way. An independent, analytical and results-oriented way of working, coupled with a sense of responsibility, commitment and communication skills round off your profile.
  • It's international: You are fluent in written and spoken English.
