This position can be filled in Schweinfurt, St. Wendel or Bad Homburg. Both full-time and part-time is possible.
Position Purpose:
In this exciting position, you contribute to the development, refinement, and maintenance of global Executive Compensation programs and policies with the aim of fostering global consistency and efficiency.
You contribute to shaping our Executive Compensation landscape in, including but not limited to, the development and roll-out of a global Executive Compensation Framework, managing related programs and processes, maintaining the Management Board compensation system, regular analysis of market trends and data to derive strategic implications and relevant actions for FME within the regulatory frameworks.
In this global position, you will collaborate with various internal (e.g., Total Rewards, Human Resources, Accounting and Controlling, Legal,) and external (e.g., compensation consultants, tax advisors) stakeholders, and act as a partner to HR and the business.
Key Responsibilities:
You play a vital part by managing, supporting and/or contributing the following projects and processes:
- Development, roll-out and management of Executive Compensation programs in line with our business strategy and external market practices (e.g., Executive Compensation Framework and philosophy, process design and implementation, communication and change management).
- Front to end management of all aspects in relation to the Management Board compensation system (e.g., fixed as well as short- and long-term variable compensation components, disclosure requirements and Corporate Governance, compensation benchmarks, payroll and tax, etc.).
- Contribute to regular processes like e.g., accounting matters, the creation of the annual Compensation Report in line with legal laws and regulations incl. data collection, Annual General Meeting preparation, establishing variable compensation plan conditions, financial and non-financial target setting, etc.
- Creation of high-quality decision material for e.g., Senior Management, the Management Board and Supervisory Board.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively (e.g., Legal, Finance, Investor Relations, tax advisors, HR, business managers) on all related matters.
- Continuous re-evaluation of the Executive Compensation operating model, trends and business needs to derive change requirements, including but not limited to creation of benchmarks and conduction of regular market data analyses, to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry standards.
- Further global (sub-)projects in line with the Global Total Rewards and Global Human Resources strategy.
Profile:
- Master’s degree in Economics, HR, Finance, Psychology, Social Sciences or similar relevant discipline or Bachelor’s degree with additional work experience
- Minimum 1 year professional experience in relevant field, e.g., in compensation consultancy, Total Rewards, HR, Finance, or similar field
- Initial experience in managing global processes and/or global projects
- Initial experience in applying grading frameworks and benchmarking advantageous
- Understanding of Management Board compensation and German Corporate Governance Code matters advantageous
- Strong analytical skills incl. proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
- Hands-on mentality and solution-oriented work mode
- Nimble mind with good business acumen
- Discreet and able to deal with highly sensitive data and topics
- Effective communicator, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner and establish trustful relationships
- Advanced in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in German and English
