Your profile

• You have successfully completed a degree or comparable apprenticeship, preferably in the fields of business or event management.
• You have relevant professional experience in event management, ideally in the areas of needs analysis, program planning, event direction and speaker management.
• You have gained experience in project management and are able to manage projects independently.
• You have a high willingness to learn, a hands-on mentality and a solution-oriented approach and are characterized by your entrepreneurial thinking and actions.
• You have a structured and independent way of working and strong analytical skills.
• You have a talent for communication and find it easy to get in touch with stakeholders and network in German and English.

Your tasks

In your role as Event Manager, you will design, organize and supervise events on a wide variety of innovation formats that drive start-ups forward, make corporates more innovative and enable cooperation between the two sides.
These include, for example, large B2B conferences, program events, networking events and hackathons.

Your tasks include:

• You will be responsible for the planning, implementation and follow-up of selected external and internal events and sub-projects at major events.
• During the implementation of the formats, you will ensure that everything runs smoothly by taking responsibility for communication with participants, speakers, external partners and service providers and supervising the organization of the events on site.
• You will use your creativity to design the content of the program for major events (needs analysis, development of new formats, etc.).
• As part of the team, you will proactively contribute your ideas to develop new programs and continuously improve existing content.

Not required, but certainly helpful

• You have gained experience in an agile environment and have a strong personal passion for sustainability.
• You have experience in creating media concepts and an eye for graphic design.
• You have experience in selecting, commissioning and managing service providers.
