Event Manager (m/f/d)

The GLOBALG.A.P. brand is owned and operated by FoodPLUS GmbH; a limited liability company registered in Cologne, Germany. FoodPLUS GmbH is responsible for managing the GLOBALG.A.P. portfolio of smart farm assurance solutions and the related day-to-day operations – from standard setting and certification management to integrity and marketing.

We are looking for an Event Manager (m/f/d) in full-time (39h/week) to start immediately.

What we are looking for:

• Degree in the field of Event Management or Project Management; or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficient in English (C1 level); any other European languages are beneficial
• Ability to work effectively within established timelines and budgets
• Independent way of working while at the same time enjoying dynamic teamwork

What you will do:

• Take full ownership of the development and activation of all online and offline events, collaborating closely with the other event manager on the team
• Manage event budget to ensure efficient allocation of resources, cost-effectiveness and alignment with overall objectives
• Maintain and establish relationships with all vendors, leveraging exceptional negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and exceptional service
• Contribute to marketing initiatives designed to elevate awareness around the event
• Manage post-event communication (internal and external), surveys, reporting, analysis, and feedback to determine if established objectives have been met
