About the Role
As a member of the Global MML Purchasing Organization, you will assist in the development and implementation of the LkSG (German Supply Chain Requirements) requirements, in addition to ESG (Environmental Social and Governance) requirements to all Magna Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting suppliers. This position will work with Magna International in developing the overarching processes, systems, and governance that Suppliers will be required to meet as part of these regulations. Additionally, this role will support future government regulations or requirements that arise in the Supply Chain field serving as an expert and liaison for the Divisions and the Global Purchasing Team. To support our Global Purchasing Team, we are searching for ESG & LkSG Coordinator (m/w/x) to join our team as soon as possible.
Your Responsibilities
Who we are looking for
Must have demonstrated success in satisfying OEM’s and Tier 1 suppliers in a complex, competitive automotive market. Functional experience in areas of strategic planning, manufacturing, purchasing, supply chain management and supplier quality and experience with manufacturing best practices and continuous improvement.
Project Management or Systems implementation experience is preferred. Complies with the designated ISO / 14001 responsibilities related to effective environmental management. Ability to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 25% of the time. Excellent English skills on C1 level mandatory.
