Set up the company environmental management system in accordance to ISO 14001.
Ensure and monitor compliance with all applicable national, regional, and local environmental laws, permits and regulations regarding Environment and Waste Management.
Identify, analyze and track new and emerging environmental regulations and implement programs and procedures to maintain legal and permit compliance regarding waste management.
Collect, analyze, and interpret environmental data to assess risk and evaluate performance and legal compliance in cooperation with the HSSE team and locations representatives.
Responsible for the carbon footprint monitoring and reporting including calculation, reporting and data collection of emissions specially scope 3 emissions.
Responsible for the preparation and submission of all required environmental regular and compliance reports, including the efficient monitoring of hazardous waste management, waste statistics, analyses and management summaries.
Drive and participate in projects to improve environmental performance.
Support in development of environmental strategic goals, yearly KPIs and initiatives.
Support the project team during the entire project life cycle from the bid phase until the handover to clients in all environmental related issues including development of project environmental and waste management plans.
Perform site inspections to verify compliance and drive corrective actions.

We are looking for an experienced environmental engineer/specialist with developed and demonstrated communication skills.
You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science or a closely related HSSE discipline; alternatively the equivalent in experience.
3 or more years of experience managing environmental compliance programs and waste management for manufacturing facilities and/or construction projects.
Adequate knowledge of the German and European laws, regulations and best practices.
Experience in the German and European market.
Fluent in German and English (verbal and written).
Experience on management system implementation
