We are seeking a Public Relations Manager to lead and drive strategy, planning and execution of Apple’s PR initiatives for its entertainment services, including Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple Fitness+, Apple Podcasts, and Books for Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
This is first and foremost a media relations role. You will be expected to work day-to-day to engage with journalists and content creators in crafting stories about Apple’s services that showcase their benefits to consumers.
Responsibilities will encompass crafting and leading PR programmes with consumer and lifestyle media, content creators, broadcast, and general business press.
You’ll partner with the editorial, creative, and business teams across all services to develop positioning, messaging, and competitive analysis.

Use your first-class knowledge of the entertainment, cultural, and media landscape in DACH to broaden and deepen our relationships across the board. Have your finger on the pulse of any changes in the industry. Spot the opportunities that arise from these changes and recommend how we can capitalize on them to improve coverage of our entertainment services.
Have the ability to dive deep into our segment markets to identify new and creative ways to reach influencing voices and share the Apple story. Be the local authority on PR initiatives for Apple’s services. Possess expert knowledge of competitive products and services, and keep the European and global teams up to date on what's going on in your market.
Manage and respond to day-to-day media inquiries and ensure our regular contacts are kept up to speed on the latest news. Play an instrumental role in influencing how Apple’s PR campaigns are developed to ensure maximum impact in Germany. Have the capacity to handle challenging PR situations reactively with grace and ease, knowing when and how to respond to media inquiries.
Handle development and distribution of PR materials and resources as required. You are responsible for the successful planning and management of a number of projects, prioritizing these to meet critical deadlines and delivering work on time and on budget.
Relevant experience in PR, publicity, journalism, talent management, agency, or corporate settings.
Preferred Qualifications: You are passionate about entertainment, culture, and consumer technology, and enjoy building formal and informal relationship networks with people of diverse backgrounds.
