Enterprise Data Architect (m/f/d)

Your areas of responsibility:

1. Develop and deliver long-term strategic goals for data architecture vision and standards
2. Establish processes for governing the identification, collection, and use of corporate metadata; take steps to assure metadata accuracy and validity
3. Conduct data capacity planning, life cycle, duration, usage requirements, feasibility studies, and other tasks
4. Create strategies and plans for data security, backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and archiving
5. Ensure that data strategies and architectures are in regulatory compliance
6. Strategically designing, developing, and implementing data models for enterprise-level applications and systems
7. Mapping of data sources, data movement, interfaces, and analytics, with the goal of ensuring data quality
8. Assess and determine governance, stewardship, and frameworks for managing data across the organization
9. Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Architect, CDO's, Global Master Data Management, project managers and business unit leaders for all projects involving enterprise data

Your qualifications:

1. Completed studies degree with focus on information technology e.g. computer science or business informatics or similar
2. Hands-on experience with data architecting, data mining, large-scale data modeling, and business requirements gathering/analysis
3. Direct experience in implementing enterprise data management processes, procedures, and decision support
4. Knowledge of enterprise repository tools, data modeling tools, data mapping tools, and data profiling tools
5. Demonstrated expertise with repository creation, and data and information system life cycle methodologies
6. Ability to manage data and metadata migration
7. Will to shape work environment proactively and to work out complex concepts
8. Outstanding interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills with proven ability to work cross-functionally, ideally in matrix / networked organizations
9. Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
