What you'll do
The Growth Account Executive, Enterprise, UK is a highly motivated self-starter who is responsible for developing and closing new business or expanding our footprint in current customers in an assigned geographic territory in accounts of $1-10 billion annual revenue.
A successful Growth AE is eager to learn and determined to adapt quickly. This person is accountable for exceeding monthly and quarterly quotas, proactive deal management, forecast accuracy, and driving adoption and usage with customers and prospects in collaboration with internal teams and the broader DocuSign partner ecosystem.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Regional VP of Enterprise Sales, UK.
Responsibilities
- Qualify Enterprise sales opportunities in growth accounts based on DocuSign’s sales methodology & metrics, to include customer fit, needs and requirements and success criteria.
- Build and execute Enterprise plans for each target growth account.
- Effectively leverage internal resources (Senior Executives, Presales, Professional Services, Legal) in Sales Campaigns to ensure sales success.
- Work effectively with your peers at DocuSign’s key partners to deliver joint value propositions for Enterprise customers.
- Develop and deliver customized sales presentations and product demonstrations, by phone and web-demo tailored for the Enterprise customer audience.
- Uncover Enterprise customer needs and develop relationships within the assigned accounts across all Lines of Business including IT, Procurement and Senior Management.
- Seek new Enterprise business opportunities consistently by presenting, recommending, and upselling new DocuSign products, services, and partner solutions.
- Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement accurately through proper use of sales tools.
- Close lower-value Enterprise sales opportunities and at the same time drive and manage larger, complex Enterprise sales deals.
What you bring
Basic
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
- Fluency in English.
- Direct SaaS sales experience in an Account Executive role or equivalent quota-carrying role.
Preferred
- Proven track record of success in large Enterprise space clients ($1-$10 billion annual turnover).
- Proven track record of success in delivering digital value-based SaaS solutions to large Enterprise space clients.
- Knowledge of several industry verticals– eg. Banking, Insurance, Pharma, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Professional Services, High Tech etc.
- Willingness and ability to travel as necessary, typically about 25%.
- Understand how to sell value and ROI into C-Level as well as sell into a line of business.
