Embedded Software Tester (m/f/d) in medical technology

In this position, you will accompany the entire software testing process on medical devices: from planning and execution to the evaluation and documentation of test results. In close cooperation with the agile software development team, you can expect exciting tasks.

Your Working Day Will Look Like This:

As a Software Tester / Software Test Engineer (m/f/d), you will accompany the entire software test process on medical devices: from planning and execution to evaluation and documentation of the test results. In close cooperation with our agile software development team, you can expect the following tasks in detail:

• Creation, design and implementation of manual and automated software tests on medical devices.
• Creation of test scripts in either C/C++/C#, Java or Python.
• Carrying out document and source code reviews.
• Preparation of the necessary regulatory documentation.

• You have a degree or training in computer science, electronics or a similar qualification.
• First practical experience in the development and implementation of test cases for electronic systems and software in an industrial environment.
• You have good knowledge in the development of embedded systems and hardware-related system programming.
• You are familiar with testing tools and issue tracking systems, such as HP ALM, Codebeamer or comparable lifecycle management systems.
• Ideally, you have in-depth experience with common tools and frameworks for test automation as well as knowledge of Visual Studio.
• You have very good German and good English skills.
