At CARIAD, we're bundling and further expanding the Volkswagen Group's software expertise. We’re uniting over 6,500 global experts to build a scalable technology stack, including a software platform, unified electronic architecture and reliable connection to the automotive cloud. Our CARIDIANS are developing vehicle functions such as driver assistance systems, a next-generation infotainment platform, power electronics and charging technology, and digital services in and around the vehicle.

Our software can already be found in Volkswagen ID. models and will soon power Audi and Porsche vehicles with the E3 1.2 platform in 2024.

After successfully finishing the Fakultät 73 Programm, you will have the opportunity to become a fully integrated member of the team in which you finished the hospitality phase, stepping confidently into a role where you can make a real impact, as you already know processes and people. WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Gain understanding on the requirements of function and system development
• Design, develop and implement efficient software components according to requirements
• Ensure continuous alignment and collaboration with other development teams and experts
• Promote diversity and intercultural competence as an ambassador to drive these topics within and outside CARIAD
• Collaborate closely with your colleagues according to agile values

WHO YOU ARE

• Successful completion in a bachelor's or master's degree program in informatics, computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics. Alternatively, a comparable qualification such as vocational training coupled with work experience
• Various practical experiences in software development
• First experience in programming languages like C / C++, Python or Java, Kotlin
• Passion for innovative products, current tech trends and the future of automotive mobility
• Keen interest in agile methods (Scrum & SAFe) and creative ways of working
