Develop further and manage the organization's privacy program, including internal policies, guidelines, and processes.
Onboard required privacy governance tools and processes to ensure compliance, overview, and pro-active management of implemented data protection measures.
Improve reporting system for data protection compliance.
Collaborate with legal, IT, information security, and other teams to ensure privacy requirements are integrated into business processes and systems.
Respond to privacy incidents and breaches, including investigation and remediation, and update respective processes.
Collaborate with privacy experts globally to ensure coordination and alignment on standards and processes across different geographies.
Deliver privacy training and awareness programs.
Monitor compliance with privacy laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory authorities as required.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
6+ years of relevant working experience
1+ years of lateral management experience
Bachelor's degree in law, IT, business, or a related field.
Proven experience in privacy governance, data protection, audit, IT security management, data governance, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CIPP, CIPM, or CIPT is a plus.
Interest in global privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and others.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Confident in communicating at the senior management level.
Ambition for people management responsibilities.
Working experience in complex multi-national environments.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
Relevant international privacy certification a plus (CIPP, CIPM, etc.).
