We are looking for a Key Account Sales person who will work as a part of the Global Account Sales Team for Applied Materials Europe, managing different customers in the semiconductor industry.

Your key responsibilities as a Key Account Sales:

  1. As the account owner, represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-oriented activities.
  2. Identifies customer needs and develops/implements complex sales strategies.
  3. Calls on existing or new customers to present Applied product and services offerings; coordinates customer demonstrations with product business group representatives.
  4. Communicates and presents Applied Materials product roadmaps and capabilities to the customer, as well as communicates and presents the customer’s technology needs to product business group representatives.
  5. Prepares pricing quotes; negotiates to final price and submits documentation to book order. Follows-up on accounts receivables, escalations, etc.
  6. Conducts follow-up on accounts receivables.
  7. Maintains appropriate coverage and documentation for all assigned customers. Maintains summaries of customer visits. Develops customer specific action plans and completes them on a timely basis.
  8. Updates forecast(s) proactively and utilizes fully the company's digital tools including SFDC, SAP, Overdrive, and others.
  9. Coaches, mentors, and supports junior team members to achieve the highest levels of personal and sales success.
  10. Maintains the highest level of personal and professional development, using all AMAT pathway and 3rd party development and training resources.

Your education and experience:

  1. A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent.
  2. Significant experience in the Semiconductor (or related) industry.
  3. A technical sales expert, who demonstrates in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of other disciplines within the function.
  4. Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adapt a different point of view.
  5. Is capable of becoming a product specialist for at least one AMAT product.
  6. Knows how to navigate business and regulatory issues; recommends product, process, or service improvements.
  7. Experienced in leading projects with notable risk and complexity, developing the strategies for project execution.
  8. Problem-solving techniques to find solutions for unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business. Conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions is expected.
  9. Persuasive communication skills to communicate complex ideas, to anticipate potential objections and to persuade others at senior level, to adopt a different point of view.
  10. Proven capability to work with cross-functional & multi-national teams in a positive and goal-oriented way.
  11. Strong networking capabilities and relationship building skills.
  12. Semiconductor manufacturing equipment and/or process know-how.
  13. Willing to travel internationally up to 50%.
