We want you for...

To establish our CO2-neutral lithium extraction and electrolysis plants in the Upper Rhine Valley in Germany, we are looking for you in a full-time (40 hours) and permanent position as Lead Mechanical Engineer (m/f/d) for Static Equipment in Karlsruhe.


Your profile

  • You hold a Bachelor's, Master's, or Dipl.-Ing. degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • With substantial senior-level professional experience, particularly in the field of static equipment like vessels, heat exchangers, towers, and tanks in chemical or power plants.
  • You have proven skills in leading and managing diverse engineering teams and project management.
  • Your inclination to share knowledge and expertise within the team fosters a continuous learning environment.
  • Additionally, you are open to occasional international travel for collaboration with global teams, client interactions, or participation in industry events.
  • Strong English language skills complete your profile. German language would be a bonus.

Your mission

  • As part of our Mechanical Team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the strategy for static equipment such as vessels, heat exchangers, towers, and tanks.
  • You will oversee and approve designs for static equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards, company policies, and project specifications.
  • Your responsibilities also include regular communication with internal departments, external suppliers, and contractors.
  • Keeping an eye on project schedules and delivery goals, you will ensure alignment between internal teams and external contractors.
  • Your focus will be on identifying, escalating, and minimizing potential project risks.
  • Lastly, you will ensure comprehensive documentation of all engineering activities for audit readiness, scalability, and knowledge transfer.
