Java Backend Developer (f/m/d)

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer (f/m/d) to join our IT team, taking charge of the server-side implementation of our pioneering web applications. If you have a passion for clean, efficient code and a strong problem-solving ability, we would love to hear from you!

YOUR PROFILE

• You have proven work experience as a Back-end developer
• You have 4+ years of experience as a Java Developer
• You have an in-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
• You write quality backend code primarily in Java, Spring, and Hibernate
• You have familiarity with front-end languages (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, and Typescript)
• You possess excellent analytical and time management skills
• You have teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
• You hold a BSc degree in Computer Science or a relevant field
• You speak fluent German and English

YOUR MISSION

• You participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• You write clean code to develop functional web applications
• You troubleshoot and debug applications
• You perform UI tests to optimize performance
• You manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications
• You collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• You gather and address technical and design requirements
• You provide training and support to internal teams
• You build reusable code and libraries for future use
• You liaise with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features
