Director, Operations and Supply Chain (Dmart)

Job Description

The Dmart Operations & Supply Chain Director is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of Dmart operations and supply chain activities across Europe, Turkey, and APAC (>300 stores and >10 DC). This includes overseeing the development and implementation of strategies to optimize Dmart operations and managing the supply chain to ensure product availability and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategies to optimize Dmart operations across Europe, Turkey, and APAC.
2. Oversee the management of Dmart facilities, including dark stores and DCs.
3. Ensure efficient and timely delivery of products to customers, meeting or exceeding service level agreements.
4. Manage the supply chain to ensure product availability and cost-effectiveness.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with Ops suppliers and DC/logistics providers.
6. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in Dmart operations and supply chain management.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (especially the Commercial team) to ensure seamless integration of Dmart operations with other business functions.
9. Manage and develop a team of Dmart operations and supply chain professionals.

Qualifications:

1. 10+ years of experience in dark stores or offline retail operations and supply chain management across different countries.
2. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
3. Strong leadership and management skills.
4. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and operational improvements.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
7. Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in Dmart operations and supply chain management.
8. Fluency in English.
