As we continue our rapid growth, we’re looking for a strategic operator to help shape the future of our business.

About the Role
We’re hiring a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to take ownership of our day-to-day operations across multiple geographies and drive scalable, tech-enabled execution across the business. As a key member of the leadership team, you'll oversee core functions including revenue operations, customer service, technology integration, and market expansion. You'll report directly into the founders and work with other executives to lead operational and commercial teams, optimise performance, and ensure operational excellence as we continue to grow rapidly.

Key focus areas include:

• Operational Leadership: Lead the company’s full operational stack – from guest experience to vendor management – with a focus on efficiency and profitability.

• Team Leadership: Build and scale high-performing teams across multiple functions, cultivating a culture of accountability, clarity, and continuous improvement.

• Technology & Automation: Partner with product and tech leaders to embed AI and automation into operations, reducing manual work and improving scalability.

• Guest Experience: Drive a consistent, high-quality experience through structured SOPs, feedback loops, and real-time support systems.

• Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, cost efficiencies, and vendor relationships to align operational performance with financial goals.

• Growth Execution: Develop and roll out operational frameworks for new property onboarding and market launches, ensuring smooth and rapid scale-up.

About You
You’re a seasoned operations leader with a proven track record of scaling businesses in fast-paced start-up environments. You thrive at the intersection of technology, process, and people – and know how to lead distributed teams while staying laser-focused on metrics and outcomes.

What you bring:

• 10+ years of experience in operations leadership, ideally in high-growth tech or operationally complex environments.

• Demonstrated success scaling businesses from startup to maturity, with a hands-on approach to systems and process design.

• Strong analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making skills.

• Experience in hospitality, travel tech, property management, or other multi-location, service-driven sectors.

• Proven ability to lead large, distributed teams and external partners.

• Familiarity with tools such as PMS, OTA integrations, or automation platforms is a plus.

• Fluent in German and either based in Berlin or open to relocating.
